← All help guides

Before you begin

A Zoho CRM administrator (Export permission).

In Crittiks, open Settings › Migration and choose Zoho CRM. Keep a copy of the original export. Invite the teammates who should own the imported records before matching owners.

Prepare your files

CSV exports of Accounts, Contacts (and Leads) and Deals.

Export each module

In Zoho CRM go to Setup > Data Administration > Export, pick a module (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Deals), and export all fields.

Zoho CRM: Export data

Drop the files in Crittiks

Accounts become companies; contacts and leads become contacts (leads with the Lead lifecycle stage); deals keep their stages.

What moves

  1. Accounts as companies
  2. Contacts and leads as contacts
  3. Deals with stages
  4. Notes, tasks and calls
  5. Owners, matched to your team by email
  6. Custom fields

What stays in your old tool

  1. Email bodies and attachments
  2. Automations and workflows
  3. Reports and dashboards
  4. Blueprints, territories and campaigns
  5. Quotes, invoices and products

Preview and test in Crittiks

  1. Upload your export files in Settings › Migration and choose Read my files.
  2. Review the proposed record types, field mappings, owners and stages. Resolve warnings and save any changes.
  3. Choose Test with 25 of each. Inspect the imported sample in the relevant customer, Sales or Projects screens.
  4. Choose Undo the test if the result needs correcting. When it looks right, choose Import everything and review the confirmation.
  5. Read the final report and check representative records, their relationships and record counts.

After the import

The run’s report shows any records that need attention. Undo is available for 30 days; records edited or linked since the import may be kept and listed instead of being overwritten.

Account names on contacts and deals link them to their companies.
